Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Laborer for a position in Pace, FL. The Laborer assists skilled construction workers and performs a wide range of tasks under the Foreman, with non-exempt status and direct supervision.

Responsibilities include digging, moving materials, pouring concrete, and supporting pipe work, with safety as a priority on site. Final compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Ability to follow instructions without distraction.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screening and physical evaluation.
• Must meet client safety requirements (PPE, attire).
• Wears required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, etc.).
• Must not pose a direct health or safety threat.

Responsibilities

• Digs, levels dirt and gravel and handles materials and tools.
• Mixes, spreads, or pours concrete, asphalt, gravel, or other materials.
• Joins, wraps, and seals sections of pipe.
• Performs varying non-machine tasks and may transfer between tasks as the project progresses.
• Completes additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
