Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Laborer to support construction and maintenance projects at a Sherman, Texas site. You will perform physically demanding tasks, assist skilled trades, and help prepare and clean work sites while following strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities include loading materials, operating basic tools, flagging traffic when needed, and working with a team to meet schedule and quality targets. A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating basic hand and power tools.
• Assist skilled tradespeople with duties, including fetching tools and materials.
• Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and other vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, including disposing of waste and debris properly.
• Follow all safety procedures, regulations, and company policies, wearing PPE at all times.
• Perform flagging duties to direct traffic as needed, ensuring safety.
• Operate small equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, or forklifts if certified and experienced.
• Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects on schedule and to quality standards.
• Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to supervisors immediately.
