Design Tech Contracting Inc. is seeking a reliable Construction Laborer / Carpenter Helper for renovation and construction work across Brooklyn and Queens. You will assist carpenters, perform demolition, load materials, and help maintain clean, safe work areas.

The role requires basic tool knowledge, physical fitness, and willingness to learn new skills. Travel to multiple sites in Brooklyn and Queens is expected; driver’s license is a plus. This is a full-time position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Some previous construction or renovation experience required.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work.
• Able to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Physically able to lift and carry construction materials.
• Willing to perform different types of work and learn additional skills.
• Must be able to reliably travel to jobs throughout Brooklyn and Queens.
• Driver’s license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters and other tradespeople with daily work.
• Perform demolition and debris removal.
• Load and unload trucks, tools, equipment, and building materials.
• Set up, protect, clean, and organize work areas.
• Carry materials and supply workers as needed.
• Assist with basic carpentry and renovation work.
• Perform general labor and punch-list tasks.
