Job summary

Archer Western Construction, LLC is seeking a Common Laborer for the Central Water Group/Pilot Point WWTP Project in Pilot Point, TX. Job involves physical labor on construction sites, operating hand/power tools, site prep, and assisting with other duties.

Responsibilities include using tools under supervision, cleaning and preparing sites, erecting scaffolding, debris disposal, trenching, and loading/unloading materials.

Qualifications

• 1 year verifiable construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to climb and balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
• Work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools including drills, hammers, and other tools as directed by management.
• Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches.
• Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with the use of equipment.
