Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Common Laborer for the Central Water Group/Pilot Point WWTP Project in Pilot Point, TX. This role performs essential physical labor on construction sites, assisting crew with tasks as directed.

Responsibilities include operating hand and power tools, site cleaning and preparation, scaffolding, debris disposal, and loading/unloading materials. Candidates must lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors, pass safety rules, and a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• 1 year verifiable construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must follow all safety policies and communicate effectively with crew and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
• Operate hand and power tools including drills and hammers as directed.
• Clean and prepare construction sites; erect scaffolding; dispose of debris; dig trenches.
• Load and unload construction supplies manually and with equipment.
