Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Must possess competence in the following areas to perform the role safely, productively, and effectively:

• Digging, spreading, shoveling, and leveling dirt and gravel
• Using a pick and shovel
• Lift, carry, and support construction materials
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete, gravel, and other materials
• Excavation, trenching, erecting scaffolding, removing rubble and debris
• Performing clean-up work related to the above tasks

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements:

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to exert heavy physical effort, handling objects up to 25 pounds
• Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb, or crawl
• Ability to rig and hoist materials correctly
• Ability to tolerate heights without fear
• Ability to maintain balance
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods, reach, handle, manipulate items, and work in extreme weather conditions
• Able to work long, irregular hours, 50 to 70 hours per week
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance in accordance with relevant standards
• Perform essential job functions safely and effectively, meeting productivity standards
