What You Can Expect:

As a full-time construction laborer, your main focus will be installing insulation (fiberglass or rock wool batts) in exterior walls and ceilings. Your daily routine may vary, but you can expect the following:

• Loading and logging materials onto a truck
• Erecting scaffolding or ladders to the required height
• Installing insulation materials through stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation
• Driving a company vehicle may be required
• Observing job site safety rules and knowing the location of MSDS packets in your vehicle

To Be Successful:

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Saturday

• Starting pay of $16.28 per hour during the training period
• Average installers earn between $50,000 and $70,000 annually

This position requires a drug test and motor vehicle report, contingent upon employment.

For Your Safety:

• Work in tight spaces, including attics and crawlspaces
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs

• Able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, and knees
