Job summary

Skillforce is seeking Construction Laborers for ongoing projects across Northern Virginia. You will assist with site preparation, material handling, and general labor on active commercial sites.

Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with Monday–Friday schedules and 40 hours plus overtime. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of hands-on construction experience, reliable transportation, and your own basic PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots).

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 1–2 years of hands-on commercial construction experience.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow directions from site supervisors and lead trades.
• Reliable transportation to the jobsite for every scheduled shift.
• Provide your own basic PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean active construction sites by removing debris and hazards.
• Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
• Dig, backfill, and assist with basic site grading and excavation support.
• Build, dismantle, and reposition temporary structures, scaffolding, and barricades as needed.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely and assist skilled trades on-site.

Skillforce is hiring Construction Laborers for ongoing projects throughout Northern Virginia. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for site preparation, material handling, and general labor support across an active commercial construction site.

• $18.00 to $20.00, depending on experience

• You have at least one to two years of hands-on commercial construction experience.
• You are reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction from site supervisors and lead trades on a busy jobsite.
• You have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite for every scheduled shift.
• You provide your own basic PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toe work boots.
