We're looking for someone who already has some general construction experience, knows how to work with basic tools, isn't afraid of physical work, and most importantly—shows up every day ready to work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll work alongside our Superintendents and other AIS team members performing a variety of tasks on commercial construction projects.

Typical responsibilities may include:

• Assist Project Superintendents with daily jobsite needs
• General construction labor
• Light demolition
• Basic framing and carpentry
• Cutting lumber and other materials
• Drywall patching and miscellaneous repairs
• Painting and touch-up work
• Installing blocking, backing, trim, and miscellaneous materials
• Jobsite protection and preparation
• Punch-list work
• Material pickup and deliveries
• Moving and organizing construction materials
• Jobsite cleanup
• Assist subcontractors when needed
• Other general construction tasks as assigned

This isn't a position where you'll be doing the exact same thing every day. We're looking for someone who is willing to jump in wherever needed and help get the job done.

CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Applicants should have previous construction experience and be comfortable using common construction tools.

You should know how to:

• Read a tape measure
• Safely use drills and impact drivers
• Use circular saws, miter saws, and other basic power tools
• Cut and install basic construction materials
• Use ladders and work safely on an active construction site
• Follow instructions and complete tasks without constant supervision

Experience with commercial construction, framing, drywall, painting, finish carpentry, remodeling, or general handyman work is a plus.

You don't need to know everything. We're looking for someone with agood construction foundation who is willing to learn.

SLC AIRPORT WORK

AIS currently has multiple projects at theSalt Lake City International Airport, so applicantsmust be able to successfully complete the required background/security screening and qualify for an airport security badge.

If you are unable to qualify for an SLC Airport badge, you may not be eligible for this position.

SCHEDULE

Monday–Friday

Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Some overtime or adjusted hours may occasionally be available depending on project needs.
