Responsibilities and Tasks of the General Laborer position include:

• Site preparation and trench backfill
• Help load and unload equipment
• Gather materials for job sites
• Follow project instructions from construction manager or foreman
• Consult with job site foreman or project superintendents
• Use construction tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Safely operate a variety of tools
• Provide assistance to contractors as needed
• Clean and clear debris and materials
• Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and maintained properly
