Job summary

Power Plus in Phoenix is hiring an Entry Level Electrical Worker to drive to customer job sites and install temporary power equipment safely and efficiently. Outdoor work, heavy lifting, ladder climbing, and frequent overtime are common; a hands-on role that delivers hands-on results each day.

Responsibilities include loading the vehicle, installing poles and wiring, verifying hot neutrals, and reporting tickets to dispatch. Class B/A license and ET card are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 80 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors and on ladders.
• Experience reading maps and following directions.

Responsibilities

• Load and stock company vehicle and drive to job sites.
• Install temporary power poles, wire and equipment.
• Install permanent utility materials for construction projects.
• Always hot check jobs before leaving to ensure there are no hot neutrals.
• Drive vehicles in accordance with laws and Power Plus! driving standards.
• Accurately report (every stop) to dispatch and scheduler. Fill out tickets, highlight maps and go over tickets with Mapper each day.
• Wear OSHA compliant safety equipment – hard hats, etc.

Summary

The Entry Level Electrical Worker is a key position responsible for driving to customer job sites and ensuring safe and efficient installation of temporary power equipment. Outdoor work with frequent drive time; Position mostly requires doing various electrical tasks, heavy lifting, and ladder climbing. Frequent overtime is required. This is a full-time position.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00
