Job summary

Power Plus! is seeking a hands-on electrical installer to drive to customer sites and ensure safe, efficient installation of temporary and permanent power equipment.

This outdoor role requires heavy lifting, ladder work, and frequent overtime, with a focus on reliability and quality workmanship across diverse construction projects. You will stock the company vehicle, install poles and wiring, read maps, and report every stop to dispatch.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of electrical experience.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds.
• Ability to read maps and navigate to job sites.
• Willingness to work outdoors and on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Load and stock company vehicle and drive to job sites.
• Install temporary power poles, wire and other equipment.
• Install permanent utility materials and equipment for construction projects.
• Verify safety checks before leaving each site.
• Drive vehicles per laws and company standards.
• Report tickets to dispatch daily and review with Mapper.
• Wear OSHA-compliant safety gear.

Summary

This position is a key position responsible for driving to customer job sites and ensuring safe and efficient installation of temporary power equipment. Outdoor work with frequent drive time; Position mostly requires doing various electrical tasks, heavy lifting, and ladder climbing. Frequent overtime is required. This is a full-time position.

Job Responsibilities

• Load and stock company vehicle and drive to job sites.
• Install temporary power poles, wire and other equipment.
• Install permanent utility materials and equipment for a wide range of construction projects.
• Always hot check jobs before leaving to ensure there are no hot neutrals.
• Drive vehicles in accordance with laws and Power Plus! driving standards.
• Accurately report (every stop) to dispatch and scheduler. Fill out tickets, highlight maps and go over tickets with Mapper each day.
• Wear OSHA compliant safety equipment – hard hats, etc.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 80 pounds
• 2 years of electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read maps
• Willingness to work on ladder (heights)
• Experience working outside required.
• Class B or Class A license a plus
• ET card a plus

Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00
