Job summary

Papago Management is seeking a Construction Laborer to support multiple projects across its family of companies in Mount Prospect, IL. You will assist with site preparation, loading/unloading materials, and general labor tasks to keep projects on track and safe.

Responsibilities include setting up and tearing down temporary structures, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with the site superintendent. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean construction sites daily for safety and efficiency.
• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Assist with setup and teardown of temporary structures like fences, scaffolding, and signage.
• Manage distribution and collection of company-owned tools and equipment.
• Inspect and maintain equipment returned from job sites.
• Pick up materials and equipment from sites as directed by the site superintendent.
• Store and inventory materials, equipment, tools, and supplies securely.
• Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and general construction duties.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Travel between job sites as required.
• Be flexible with work hours and days based on project needs.
• Report to the site superintendent at start and end of each day.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisor and foreman.

Papago Management, a commercial property management entity within the Nicholas Family of Companies, is seeking a Construction Laborer to support the success of various projects across its family of companies. This role is responsible for assisting with site preparation, material handling, and performing a variety of general labor duties to help ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cleaning construction sites daily to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment as needed
• Assist with the setup and teardown of temporary structures, including fences, scaffolding, and signage
• Manage the distribution and collection of company-owned tools and equipment
• Maintain and inspect company equipment upon return from job sites
• Pick up construction materials, supplies, and equipment from job sites as directed by the site superintendent
• Properly store, secure, and maintain inventory of materials, equipment, tools, and supplies
• Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and general construction duties
• Maintain a valid driver’s license
• Travel between job sites as needed
• Demonstrate flexibility with work hours and days based on project needs
• Report to the site superintendent at the start and end of each day
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the site superintendent and laborer foreman/warehouse manager
