Schutte Excavating, Inc. is located in Greensburg, IN. Our company has been steadily growing and is looking to expand our workforce. Schutte Excavating’s focus is on Community Development Block Grant Projects, Storm Sewer Projects, General Construction Management, Concrete Construction, and Site Development. We travel within a 60‑mile radius of Greensburg.
Current position: Civil Construction Laborer(s). This role requires a minimum of 2 years of commercial construction experience and involves manual work with a willingness to learn. Responsibilities include rough carpentry, concrete work, operating hand and power tools, cleaning and preparing sites, digging trenches, setting braces to support excavation sides, cleaning up rubble, debris, and other waste materials, assisting with installation of structures and site features, loading and unloading materials, and providing assistance to craft workers. Physical demands may require the ability to lift heavy objects (25+ lbs), stand for long periods, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
Qualifications
Even better (but not required) if you have a Class A CDL.
