Job summary

Sterling Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Laborer in El Paso, TX to support field crews with basic construction tasks and site cleanup.

Responsibilities include cleaning work areas and equipment, lifting materials, digging and leveling dirt, and assisting with general labor. Must work cooperatively with others and be prepared for overtime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 months to 2 years of experience in construction labor-type work.
• Must be willing to perform general labor tasks (sweep, cleanup, run errands, dig trenches, etc.).
• Flexible availability to include overtime and weekends.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Cleans work areas, tools, equipment, materials, etc.
• Lifts, carries, and holds building materials, tools, and supplies.
• Digs, spreads, and levels dirt and gravel, using pick, rake, and shovel.
• Moving and transferring from job to job as projects progress and work is available.
• Work with other workers in a cooperative manner.
• General labor work.
