Job summary

North American Pipeline Management (NAPM), an Azuria Water Solutions company, seeks a Construction Laborer in Denver, NC to support rehabilitation and repair of water and sewer lines. CDL preferred; strong safety mindset and ability to lift and travel overnight as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ outdoor construction experience, preferably with water or sewer utilities.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces.

• Willing to travel up to 70% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Direct operators of construction equipment and align/adjust machinery to location needs.
• Drive vehicles to haul crews and equipment to work sites.
• Assist in setup and cleanup of job sites, including lifting and carrying items 50+ lbs.
• Review entry and work permits and assist in reviewing installation videos.
• Enter manhole or confined spaces to cut lines for installation.
• Other tasks as assigned.

We’re seeking a motivatedConstruction Laborerwith experience working around water or sewer utilities and who may have a CDL license, throughout the region inDenver, NC. This is a hands-on role where you will work effectively with supervisors and peers in the successful rehabilitation and repair of a variety of sewer and stormwater lines, contributing to meaningful infrastructure work every day.

We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license, and sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. New employees who meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout.

The starting hourly rate is $17.00-$24.00 per hour depending on experience.

What You’ll Do

• Direct operators of construction equipment with alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to location needs.
• Drive various vehicles (pickups to tractor-trailer rigs requiring a CDL) to haul crews and equipment to work sites.
• Assist in initial setup and cleanup of job sites which would include lifting, carrying, and pulling items 50+lbs in weight.
• Review entry and work permits; and assists in the review of pre and post installation videos.
• Enter manhole/confined space to cut line for installation
• Other tasks, as assigned.

What We Need

• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Class A, B CDL license or permit preferred; Hazmat or other endorsements preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience working in an outdoor construction environment, preferably with CIPP or water or sewer utilities.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends based on business needs.
• Commitment to jobsite safety and quality work.
• Ability to travel overnight, locally and regionally (across state lines), as work assignments dictate. As much as 70% overnight travel is required.
