Job summary

Insituform Technologies LLC, an Azuria Water Solutions company, is seeking Construction Laborers - Operator Assistants in Tempe, AZ. You will assist truck operators and CCTV inspectors with setup and support at the job site, and may operate a support vehicle.

The role requires working with minimal oversight, travel up to 25% overnight, lifting up to 75 pounds, and a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR. A sign-on bonus is offered; starting pay is $22.00-$24.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a Construction or Field Laborer is highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR is required.
• Must be able to travel weekly; 25% overnight travel is required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds and use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Vactor / CCTV inspection operators with setup and provide support.
• Drive support vehicles (pickup trucks) with equipment.
• Work in and around sewer and storm drains.
• Monitor gauges and indicators to ensure equipment is functioning.
• Learn Insituform’s products, processes, safety procedures, and equipment.
• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site/shop.

We are currently seeking Construction Laborers - Operator Assistants to join our team in Tempe, AZ. As a Construction Laborer - Operator Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Truck Operators and CCTV inspection operators with setup at the job site and supporting them throughout the job, which may include driving a support vehicle with equipment. The Laborer will also work effectively with supervisors and peers in the successful rehabilitation and repair of a variety of sewer and storm water lines. This position requires working with minimal oversight while still adhering to instructions closely.

We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license, and sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. New employees who meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout.

The starting pay is $22.00-$24.00 per hour dependent upon experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
• Learn / train on Insituform’s products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
• Perform set up and clean up tasks at job site/ shop

What We Need From You:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience as a Construction or Field Laborer is highly preferred
• Valid driver’s license required with a clean motor vehicle report
• Must have strong communication skills, be reliable, and be a team player
• Ability to lift / move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools with or without reasonable accommodations
• Comfortable working in and around sewer and storm drains
• Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Must be able to travel weekly (potentially out of state); 25% overnight travel is required
