Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is hiring a warehouse associate to help set up a new facility in the Longview area. You'll unload trucks, sort materials, and lay out inventory for assembly.

Duties include painting lines on the floor, installing signs and racking, assembling office furniture, reading plans, and using hand tools or electric screwdrivers. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be available for overtime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends to start.
• Read and interpret basic warehouse plans.

Responsibilities

Job description

Individual will be setting up a new warehouse in the area consisting of unloading all the needed materials from trucks, sorting and getting it all laid out and organized. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends! HIRING 10 PEOPLE TO START NEXT WEEK

To start will be unloading trucks and sorting larger volume of materials coming into the warehouse once all the inventory is off the trucks then assembly of all the items will begin

• Will be responsible for painting lines on the warehouse floor, installing signs, installing racking system and assembling and installing office furniture.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. This will be physical work, assembling the warehouse racking system and continuously unloading and organizing incoming materials.
• Will be using hand tools as well as electric screw drivers and ability to read a plan o gram to assemble furniture.

Required Attire and Safety Guidelines:

• Steel or composite toe work shoes/boots
• Safety gloves, vest, glasses and hard hat.
• Shirt with sleeves
• Long pants that cover from waist to ankle (No sweats, scrubs, or pajama bottoms)
• Long hair must be tied back in a ponytail

Prohibited Items and Conduct:

• No cell phones or electronic devices are allowed inside Amazon facilities
• No backpacks or large bags are permitted in the building
• No weapons, including pocketknives
• Smoking areas are limited, and access will be restricted
