Job summary

Zero Impact Builders in Stockton, CA is seeking a construction laborer to support concrete work, site preparation and material handling on commercial projects.

You will follow safety guidelines, assist with loading/unloading materials, read blueprints, and help the team with tasks such as forming, pouring, and operating basic equipment as needed. This is a physical, outdoor role requiring reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in performing general labor and construction.
• Commitment to quality work with safety first.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Concrete work including forming, pouring, mixing, rebar, finishing.
• Install and manage conduit, PVC, EMT, underground and overhead lines.
• Load and unload building materials and equipment.
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth.
• Operate heavy equipment such as Bobcat, backhoe, excavator.
• Follow construction plans, blueprints and instructions.

Requirements:

• General tasks include Concrete; forming, pouring, mixing, rebar, finishing
• Generally working with Conduit PVC, EMT, Underground, and overhead
• Install Transformers/switchboards
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
• Load and unload building materials and equipment
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth in preparation for construction
• Operate and control heavy-duty equipment and machinery like Bobcat, backhoe, excavator, etc.
• Build or take apart bracing, barricades, forms, scaffolding, and other structures
• Follow construction plans, blueprints, and instructions provided by management.
• Operating experience in backhoes and forklifts a plus
• Duties as assigned

• Ability to communicate in more than one language
