Job summary

Zero Impact Builders is seeking a reliable general laborer to support on-site construction in Vallejo, CA. You will handle concrete work, forming, pouring, mixing, rebar and finishing, and assist with conduit and site preparation according to project plans.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and a strong commitment to safety. You may load/unload materials, operate basic equipment when trained, and follow blueprints and management directions.

Responsibilities

• Concrete work, forming, pouring, mixing, rebar, finishing as described in plans
• Conduit PVC, EMT, underground and overhead tasks as needed
• Load and unload materials and equipment; clean and prepare construction sites
• Dig trenches, backfill holes and compact earth for foundations
• Operate heavy machinery such as Bobcat, backhoe or excavator when trained
• Follow construction plans, blueprints and on-site instructions
• Assist with building bracing, barricades, forms, scaffolding and related structures
• Other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

• General tasks include Concrete; forming, pouring, mixing, rebar, finishing


• Generally working with Conduit PVC, EMT, Underground, and overhead


• Install Transformers/switchboards


• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards


• Load and unload building materials and equipment


• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth in preparation for construction


• Operate and control heavy-duty equipment and machinery like Bobcat, backhoe, excavator, etc.


• Build or take apart bracing, barricades, forms, scaffolding, and other structures


• Follow construction plans, blueprints, and instructions provided by management.


• Operating experience in backhoes and forklifts a plus


• Other tasks as assigned.
