• Coordinate with subcontractors for pricing and coverage.
• Input pricing into B2W and adjust costs.
• Prepare proposals, calculations, and supporting docs.
• Support senior estimators with change orders and handoffs.
• Deliver bids and record results.
• May perform other related tasks as needed.

Position Overview

Are you eager to launch your career in civil construction estimating ? As a Junior Estimator , you’ll work closely with our estimating team to prepare accurate, competitive bids for infrastructure projects. This is a hands‑on role for someone with civil site construction experience who is driven to learn, grow, and contribute to high‑profile projects.

You’ll gain real‑world exposure to the full bid cycle while developing the technical skills and industry knowledge to advance quickly in your career.

What You’ll Do

• Attend comprehensive kickoff meetings and pre-bid calls with owners
• Download bid documents, review specs, addendums, and revisions
• Prepare master quotes and input existing/proposed grades into AGTEK
• Conduct site visits and pre-bid meetings
• Perform takeoffs in Planswift and create exhibits for sod & concrete
• Coordinate and follow up with subcontractors and vendors for accurate pricing
• Input pricing and quantities into B2W and ensure scope coverage
• Adjust indirect costs, overhead, and profit margins
• Prepare complete proposals, calculations, and supporting documentation
• Attend bid reviews, process adjustments, and negotiate changes as needed
• Support senior estimators with change orders, project handoffs, and post-job reviews
• Deliver bids, attend openings, and record results
• Additional responsibilities: May include other related tasks as assigned to meet organizational needs.
