Job summary

Haselden Builders is offering a summer internship that places you on an active project team with real responsibilities. You will learn how projects are planned, coordinated, and built by working side-by-side with engineers, managers, and superintendents.

The program emphasizes mentorship, initiative, and hands-on experience across Colorado and nearby regions. The internship runs 3-6 months, with opportunities in operations and direct project assignments.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related degree program.
• Bachelor-level or higher in construction-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support RFIs, submittals, document control, and project coordination.
• Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project partners.
• Participate in project meetings and assist with meeting documentation and follow-up.
• Support quality control inspections and documentation.
• Participate in jobsite safety activities and learn Haselden's expectations for safe project execution.
• Assist with scheduling, field coordination, manpower tracking, and other project controls.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Work alongside Project Engineers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and other project leaders.
• Spend meaningful time in the field learning how work is planned, coordinated, and installed.
• Take ownership of assignments and follow them through to completion.

What You’ll Do

Haselden's internship program is a full-time, hands-on experience typically lasting 3-6 months. Internship opportunities are available in operations, with interns assigned directly to a project team.

Depending on your assignment, you may:

• Support RFIs, submittals, document control, and project coordination.

Interns will also complete a final presentation highlighting their experience, key lessons learned, and contributions during their internship. Presentations are shared with Haselden leaders, executives, mentors, and project team members.

Internship opportunities may be available throughout Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, including the Front Range, Western Slope, Cheyenne, Laramie, and Bozeman.

Pay

$23.00 per hour + weekly living subsistence based on internship location.
