Job summary

Walbridge is offering a hands-on internship program designed to launch your career in construction and engineering. Interns work on meaningful assignments in the field or at corporate and regional offices, gaining exposure to real-world challenges and professional development opportunities.

Interns are assigned to areas such as Estimating, Scheduling, Field Operations, Design Management, Cost, Technology and more for the duration of the summer.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• Be passionate about construction, engineering, or related fields.
• Have ability to travel.
• Have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute: Assist in coordination of on-site construction projects and engineering activities.
• Collaborate: Work with experienced team members including Superintendents, Project Managers, Estimators, Schedulers and others.
• Support: Complete documentation in support of subcontractor planning and administration to ensure quality of construction in support of overall project schedule.
• Interpret: Understand and interpret designs, drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents.
