Walbridge offers a summer internship program designed to launch careers in construction and engineering. Interns work in fields including Estimating, Scheduling, Field Operations, Design Management, Cost, and Technology across multiple U.S. sites, with hands-on assignments and mentoring.

Interns engage in meaningful work at corporate and regional offices or on project sites, gaining exposure to real-world challenges and professional development opportunities for a well-rounded summer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• Be passionate about construction, engineering, or related fields.
• Have ability to travel.
• Have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute: Assist in coordination of on-site construction projects and engineering activities.
• Collaborate: Work with experienced team members including Superintendents, Project Managers, Estimators, Schedulers and others.
• Support: Complete documentation in support of subcontractor planning and administration to ensure quality of construction in support of overall project schedules.
• Interpret: Understand and interpret designs, drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents.
