Job summary

Branch is offering a Summer Internship for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors pursuing degrees in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields. The program provides structured learning and mentorship in a real project environment.

Interns will work with Preconstruction, PM and Field teams, interact with subcontractors, and participate in cost planning, scheduling, procurement, and quality control.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled college students pursuing Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management and/or related degree.
• Courteous and professional attitude when dealing with co-workers, customers and the public.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Travel is required. A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is mandatory.
• Passionate and determined to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Assist Preconstruction, Project Management and/or Field Supervision with training and mentoring.
• Interact with subcontractors, vendors and owners.
• Participate in cost planning and scheduling, materials procurement, cost control, and quality management.
• Prepare a presentation outlining the internship experience at Branch.
• Follow safety and security procedures and determine appropriate action steps.
