The internship emphasizes planning, budgeting, safety, and document management, with opportunities for advancement and leadership training at four locations including Herndon, VA.

Qualifications

• Enrolled inConstruction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with planning, budgeting, and execution tasks.
• Participate in on-site walkthroughs and monitor construction progress.
• Identify safety or quality concerns and report them promptly.
• Engage in hands-on construction tasks alongside skilled laborers.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure timely materials delivery.
• Support handling change orders and project documents like RFIs and submittals.
• Maintain daily records with the project manager and estimating team.
