Job summary

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Intern to be based in Indianapolis, IN, with the expected start in Summer 2027. Interns will gain hands-on experience in engineering, construction management, and infrastructure projects within a global firm.

Interns perform assignments to develop professional skills, follow directions from senior staff, and meet schedules while delivering quality work. AECOM Hunt offers a broad learning experience and exposure to industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an associate’s degree in construction management or similar discipline and at least 1 year of study.
• Preferred: experience working for a general contractor.
• Preferred: internship experience and exposure to construction-based software programs (Microsoft Office, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
• Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
• Meets required schedules while producing quality work.
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.
