Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking Summer Construction Interns to join our project teams in Dallas/Fort Worth. This entry-level internship offers exposure to Project Management, Superintendent, and Preconstruction activities, with responsibilities in administration, field engineering, and documentation for construction projects.

Interns will support submittals, logs, schedules, and site safety, while learning from experienced Beck staff.

Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of project documents
• Experience using Excel, Bluebeam, and Revit or comparable construction technologies is a plus

Responsibilities

• Interpret, coordinate, maintain, and understand construction drawings and specs
• Assist in developing Submittal Logs, Specification Logs, RFIs and meeting minutes
• Update project schedule and coordinate with subcontractors/vendors
• Assist in acquiring project closeout documents
• Ensure safety orientations and site inspections
• Support field engineering, supervision, and documentation tasks
