Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Construction Intern to join our team in Marina, CA. You will work with industry-leading managers and engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects.

Interns will support various proposals and projects both on-site and in the office, with field responsibilities including mobilization, layouts, and documentation, and office tasks such as vendor contact and document review. Transportation to the jobsite is the intern's responsibility.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or a Master’s in Construction Management or a related discipline is required.

Responsibilities

• Support proposals and projects in the field and the office.
• Provide field support including mobilization, field measurements/layouts, assisting field crew, and project documentation.
• Assist in reviewing project documents, contacting subcontractors and vendors, attending meetings and general office tasks.
• Support the project manager, superintendent, and construction specialists as needed.
• Intern position will be on construction jobsite each day Monday through Friday during dictated workhours.
