CSI Construction is offering a Construction Intern internship to support California project teams both in the field and office. This role provides exposure to project management, estimating, scheduling, safety, and documentation.

The ideal candidate is pursuing Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related fields and aims to learn from experienced professionals on meaningful projects.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Building Science, or related field.
• Ability to work effectively in office and active job-site environments.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Reliable transportation to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with daily construction activities.
• Participate in jobsite walks and document project progress.
• Observe construction means, methods, sequencing, and best practices.
• Assist with quality-control inspections and documentation.
• Help monitor jobsite conditions, materials, deliveries, and subcontractor activities.
• Maintain organized project documentation.
• Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and training.
• Support safety and regulatory compliance on California jobsites.
• Assist with punch-list activities and project closeout as needed.
• Gain exposure to California construction practices and contract administration.
