Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering program, full-time.
• Minimum 30 credits completed toward current degree.
• GPA at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction inspections to verify conformance with contracts and plans.
• Perform basic construction tests (air, slump, moisture, density, gradation).
• Inspect plants and paving work including grading and base work and accessories.
• Maintain records and prepare reports; report unusual conditions to supervisor.
• Enter and record data on construction projects in computer programs.
• Assist with routine layout, staking, and surveying; operate survey instruments if needed.
