Interns work directly with Foremen, Superintendents, Project Managers, and skilled craft professionals while contributing to active construction projects.

This internship is designed to provide exposure to both the physical construction process and the project management responsibilities that ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Interns will develop practical construction knowledge, strengthen leadership skills, and gain insight into the many career paths available within the construction industry.

At Keller, we view our internship program as a pathway to a long-term career. Interns who demonstrate a strong work ethic, commitment to safety, leadership potential, and a willingness to learn will be considered for future internships and full-time opportunities within our organization.

First-Year Interns
  • Primarily work as part of a Building Erection, Carpentry, or Concrete crew
  • Gain hands-on field experience while learning fundamental construction practices
  • Participate in job shadow opportunities with Operations team members

Returning Interns
  • Take on increased responsibility related to project coordination and jobsite management
  • Participate more actively in project meetings, planning discussions, and scheduling activities
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Operations team members while continuing to gain field experience

While responsibilities may vary by project, interns can expect approximately 70% field work and 30% exposure to project management, operations, and construction leadership functions.
