Michels Corporation seeks an Insurance & Contract Specialist to support insurance and contract activities in a heavy civil construction environment. You will review contract provisions, manage documentation, and understand OCIP/CCIP programs, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of related experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A valid driver license is required. AA/EOE/M/W/Vet/Disability.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of initial contracts, identifying benefits, risks, and disadvantages; evaluate terms and coordinate legal and insurance reviews.
• Oversee all project-specific insurance coverages throughout the project lifecycle and related periods.
• Evaluate and manage Owner-supplied and other project-specific policies to ensure adequate coverage and identify gaps; manage enrollments in programs.
• Assist with procurement of contract-specific insurance coverages to comply with requirements and certificates of insurance.
• Present insurance coverage issues related to contracts, leases, subcontracts, and consultant agreements to management.
• Analyze insurable risks and coordinate with project teams to align activities with appropriate coverages
