Job summary

O'Day Equipment in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Field Installation Technician to join our team. You will install petroleum equipment including gas pumps, dispensers, piping, and underground storage tanks, and work on aboveground tanks as well.

This role requires valid driver's license, willingness to travel overnight across ND, SD and MN, outdoor work, and the ability to lift over 75 lbs. On-the-job training is provided and you will report to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and be eligible for an insurable vehicle.
• Overnight travel required across ND, SD and MN.
• Background check performed; must be 18 years of age.
• Basic construction background and familiarity with hand tools.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform measurements.

Responsibilities

• Install petroleum equipment including gas pumps, dispensers, piping and underground tanks.
• Install aboveground storage tanks and related equipment.
• Travel with overnights and 40+ hours per week during busy times.
• Primarily outdoor work; lift over 75 lbs.
• Operate Bobcat equipment and report to Project Manager.

This position is out of Sioux Falls, SD. You would be required to travel between ND, SD and MN.

Position Summary:

Working with both O’Day Equipment staff and other outside contractors to assist with all aspects of construction for fueling systems. This includes installation of both above-ground and underground tanks, piping, gas pumps and concrete.

Basic construction skills required. Experience with Bobcat equipment a plus. We provide on the job training!!!

• Experience with Bobcat equipment and an aptitude for how to use that type of equipment
• Expected to work as part of a team and report to a Project Manager
