MCIS Inc is seeking motivated Installers to join our field operations team. You will be responsible for the safe, accurate installation of interior construction systems including raised access flooring, structural ceilings, modular components, and support framing.

Responsibilities

• Install raised access flooring systems, structural ceiling systems, modular components, and support framing.
• Read and interpret drawings, layouts, specs, and installation instructions.
• Measure, mark, and verify layouts for accurate installation.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, laser equipment, and other construction tools.
• Inspect materials and completed work for quality and specification compliance.
• Coordinate daily activities with foremen and project team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow OSHA regulations and participate in daily safety meetings.
• Assist with punch-list items, project closeout, and training of new field personnel.

Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient installation of specialized interior construction systems, including raised access flooring, structural ceilings, modular components, support framing, and other project-specific scopes.

The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in delivering quality craftsmanship, and is committed to maintaining the highest safety standards while working in fast-paced construction environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Install raised access flooring systems, structural ceiling systems, modular components, support framing, and other project-specific systems.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, specifications, and installation instructions.
• Measure, mark, and verify layouts to ensure accurate installation and alignment.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, laser equipment, and other construction tools.
• Inspect materials and completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily activities with Foremen, General Foremen, and project team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Follow OSHA regulations, customer requirements, and company safety policies, including participation in daily safety meetings.
• Assist with punch-list items, project closeout activities, and the training of new field personnel as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous construction, installation, carpentry, framing, flooring, ceiling, or related field experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies at all times

Job Details

• Starting pay: $20.00 per hour
• Full-time position
• Must be able to travel for months at a time.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more with assistance when required
• Ability to work in active construction environments and varying job site conditions
