ob Overview

We are seeking motivated and safety-focused Mission Critical Installers to support the installation of specialized infrastructure systems within data centers and other mission-critical environments.

This position is ideal for individuals with experience in construction, mechanical installation, equipment installation, carpentry, industrial work, or other skilled trades. Candidates should be comfortable working in fast-paced construction environments where safety, precision, quality, and attention to detail are essential.

Installers will work alongside experienced field teams to assemble, install, modify, and support interior infrastructure, equipment access, structural support, conveyance, and related systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, assemble, adjust, and support specialty interior infrastructure systems according to drawings, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and site conditions.
  • Install and support systems including:
  • Access flooring
  • Ceiling systems
  • Containment systems
  • Structural support systems
  • Equipment access systems
  • Conveyance systems
  • Mechanical support infrastructure
  • Equipment transfer and handling systems
  • Other mission-critical construction components
  • Perform accurate measuring, layout, leveling, alignment, and installation.
  • Install and align tracks, rails, supports, conveyance systems, and equipment-handling components.
  • Cut, fit, modify, and secure materials and components to meet project specifications and field conditions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, construction plans, installation details, and specifications.
  • Verify proper alignment, clearances, movement paths, and functionality of installed systems.
  • Remove, reinstall, adjust, or replace components as needed for trade coordination, maintenance access, commissioning, or project changes.
  • Coordinate work with electrical, mechanical, controls, low-voltage, and other construction trades.
  • Assist with equipment moves, material handling, system modifications, installation sequencing, and project turnover.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Follow all project, customer, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements.
  • Work overtime, nights, weekends, or travel when required by project schedules.
Required Qualifications
  • 1–3+ years of experience in construction, installation, mechanical work, skilled trades, equipment installation, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, layouts, scopes of work, and installation specifications.
  • Strong measuring, layout, leveling, and alignment skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble, adjust, and install various components and systems.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
  • Ability to follow manufacturer installation instructions and project specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot field installation issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a construction crew.
  • Strong commitment to jobsite safety, housekeeping, and professional conduct.

  • Wrenches, sockets, and specialty installation tools

  • Material lifts
  • Scissor lifts, when properly trained and certified
  • Rigging and material-handling equipment, when trained and authorized
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

  • Lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Stand, walk, kneel, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Perform overhead work.
  • Work from ladders and elevated work areas.
  • Climb ladders, including ladders 12 feet or higher.
  • Work at heights and in active construction environments.
  • Work in confined spaces when required.
  • Safely navigate active jobsites and changing field conditions.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Schedule & Work Environment
  • Full-time construction position.
  • Project schedules may require overtime, early mornings, nights, weekends, and occasional travel.
  • Work is performed primarily on active construction sites, including data centers and other mission-critical facilities.
  • Candidates must be comfortable following strict jobsite safety, access, housekeeping, and security requirements.
Entry-Level Candidates Welcome

Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, construction experience, a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn may be considered even without direct data center experience.

Experience in carpentry, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, industrial construction, equipment installation, manufacturing, or other technical trades can be highly transferable to this position.
