Intertek is seeking a Construction Inspector to join our PSI team in Pittsburgh, PA, focusing on waterline, sewer, and pavement restoration. The role ensures safety, quality, and compliance on critical infrastructure projects, with field inspections, documentation, and reporting to the supervisor.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with waterline and sewer construction, pavement restoration, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in waterline and sewer construction and pavement restoration inspections.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor waterline installation, repair and replacement projects for compliance with plans, specifications and safety standards.
• Oversee pavement restoration activities ensuring proper materials, compaction and finish quality.
• Document daily progress, prepare inspection reports and communicate findings to the supervisor.
