STV currently has openings for Construction Inspectors in the Transportation group in Pennsylvania.

Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisors

STV’s Transportation group, based in Douglassville, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia, PA offices, seeks construction inspection supervisors experienced in PennDOT and PA Turnpike highway and bridge projects.

Field locations include the Lehigh Valley and Northeastern Pennsylvania regions, particularly in Carbon, Monroe, Northampton, and Schuylkill Counties, with future projects in the Philadelphia area. Clients include PennDOT Districts 4, 5, 6, and the PA Turnpike Commission.

Requirements include 4 to 8 years of highway/bridge construction inspection experience, relevant certifications, and familiarity with PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike electronic documentation systems. An AS or BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is a plus.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-8+ years of highway/bridge inspection, with supervisory experience preferred, NICET Level III in Highway Construction, or PE license as an alternative.
• Certifications in ACI, PennDOT/NECEPT, stormwater management, traffic control, OSHA, etc.
• Experience with PennDOT’s ECMS and related project management software.
• Knowledge of highway/bridge construction standards and materials.
• Proficiency in MS Office and PDF software.
• Strong communication, supervisory, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work on-site, operate a vehicle safely, and work nights/weekends as required.
• Willingness to attend training and maintain certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle.

Compensation Range

$60,140.00 - $80,187.00
