Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Construction Inspector for a NYSDOT Region 8 project in Goshen, NY. NICET II/III certification and 2–3 years of related experience are preferred; entry-level candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities include inspecting construction activities, preparing daily inspector reports, confirming quantities, and ensuring MPT implementation. The pay range in New York is $40–65/hour, with benefits including medical, dental, PTO and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Diploma or undergraduate degree in Engineering, and/or NICET II or III certification with 2–3 years of experience.
• Entry level candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily Inspector reports, confirm Contractor quantities, ensure implementation of MPT.
