Base pay range

$60,000.00/hr - $80,000.00/hr

  • Work Location: Nashville, TN

Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with the manager during the interview.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Provide construction inspection and quality assurance services on complex mechanical systems projects, including HVAC, plumbing, at an international airport facility.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with construction documents, specifications, and contract requirements.
  • Review contractor’s work, inspect materials, and verify certifications.
  • Record observations and report noncompliance issues.
  • Coordinate and verify field testing of mechanical systems and materials.
  • Review and approve pay applications related to mechanical work.
  • Review contractor’s quality control and safety manuals and procedures.
  • Ensure safety standards adherence and conduct safety inspections.
  • Review contractor submittals for constructability and compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance on mechanical system installations.
  • Monitor contractor performance and compliance with standards and codes.
Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of construction inspection experience focused on HVAC and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and equipment installations.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and testing procedures.
  • Certifications in mechanical or HVAC systems preferred.
  • Experience with airport construction projects preferred.
