Job summary

HNTB is seeking a field Inspector to perform daily inspection of contractor activities on infrastructure projects in West Virginia. You will monitor compliance with plans, specifications, and contract provisions, and maintain daily logs of inspection work.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of construction experience, as well as relevant jurisdictional certificates. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of construction experience.
• All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Observes, documents, and verifies work to ensure contract compliance.
• Performs standard mathematical calculations and measurements of work to date.
• Maintains inspector's daily report of activities, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Performs on-site material testing and creates as-constructed sketches as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
