The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Construction Inspector I in the Engineering and Construction Services Department. The incumbent coordinates and manages all activities regarding inspections of engineering construction and related matters for compliance with specifications and City codes. Associate's Degree or Trade School Certificate required with 18 months minimum experience in public work construction, engineering, surveying, building, utilities, etc. Equivalent additional experience possibly may be accepted in place of education. Must possess valid Oklahoma driver license and be insurable. Must obtain ODEQ Class "D" water and wastewater certifications within one (1) year of hire. This position is designated as safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening.
