Job summary

LiRo Group in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Construction Inspector for NYSDOT projects. NICET Level II, III, or IV or a registered PE is required; minimum 5 years of highway or bridge inspection experience; recent NYSDOT or Thruway project background preferred.

This on-site role supports the Resident Engineer Inspection division, performing field inspections and documentation. Proficiency with Site Manager is expected; ATSSA/ACI or AMPP certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of highway and/or bridge inspection experience.
• NICET Level II, III or IV or a registered PE.
• Recent NYSDOT and/or Thruway project experience required.
• Proficient with Site Manager.
• ATSSA and ACI certifications a plus.
• AMPP certifications a plus.
• Work Zone Traffic Control training a plus.
• NETTCP Soils and Aggregate Inspector certification a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States and maintains current Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• On-site inspections for major NYSDOT highway & bridge projects.
• Document findings and coordinate with the Resident Engineer Inspection division.
