Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• AS, BS, or BA in a construction-related, engineering field is preferred.
• Experience in field construction inspection or an equivalent combination is preferred.
• KDOT inspection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specs, contract documents, submittals and shop drawings.
• Monitor conformity of materials and workmanship with project documents and codes.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and weekly summaries.
• Take project photographs to document progress and conditions.
• Drive to assigned project sites and attend meetings as needed.
• Assist other PEC team members in surveying, geotechnical investigations, etc.
