HDR is hiring a Construction Inspector to work as a member of our Florida CEI (Construction Engineering and Inspection) program at a project site in Crystal River, FL on another exciting project. Our CEI team primarily works independently on FDOT projects consisting of milling and resurfacing, bridge construction, signalization, earthwork operations, stripping operations, and final estimate preparation. They interact on a daily basis with FDOT Project Administrators and other FDOT personnel. In the role of Construction Inspector, we’ll count on you to:

• Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelines
• Collaborate with other field representatives or Project Managers
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents
