Who You Are:
We are seeking to hire a Construction Inspector with knowledge and experience of construction standards and practices. The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of experience performing construction inspection within Virginia, including work for VDOT. The Construction Inspector will oversee all phases of highway construction and maintenance projects, ensuring quality in accordance with plans and specifications, and contributing to a safe, efficient transportation system.

Note: Various certifications may be required depending on the specific tasks assigned. Completion of the Inspector Trainee program may substitute for one year of experience.
Note: The pay rate for this position is subject to the maximum hourly rate listed in the current CEI Classification Hourly Rate Pay Limitations Memorandum.
