Geo-Technology Associates (GTA) office in Quakertown, PA is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to provide a wide range of observation and testing services for geotechnical and environmental development projects for private and public sectors.

Responsibilities include monitoring and testing the moisture and density of soils using a nuclear density testing gauge; testing concrete, asphalt and other materials; observing construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications;

Qualifications

• Reliable vehicle, good driving record and valid driver's license.
• Physical capability to carry equipment/samples >50 lb on uneven ground.
• High school diploma/GED with good writing and math skills.
• Roadway construction experience (desired, not required).
• Possess one or more of the following current certifications: NICET, ACI, APNGA, NETTCP, ICC, FPO (desired).

Technicians require the ability and willingness to workalmost entirelyoutdoors, perform extensivefieldworkand travel significant distances to project sites. Overtime may berequired, depending on the project.GTA will reimburse you for mileage and tolls and pay you “time and a half” for overtime!GTA will provide you with Personal Protective Equipment, which includes High Visibility Vest, Hard Hat, Gloves, and Safety Glasses.
