Job summary

Infinite Consulting Corp. seeks an experienced Construction Inspector to support the Bayswater Point State Park Shoreline Restoration Project in Far Rockaway, Queens.

You will coordinate inspectors, monitor shoreline work, ensure compliance with plans and permits, and document daily progress through reports and meetings. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of site inspection experience, a degree in engineering or construction management, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 5-7 years of construction inspection experience with site/civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading inspection teams and coordinating multiple disciplines.
• Strong experience with shoreline restoration, marine construction, landscaping, habitat restoration, boardwalks, and pier construction.
• Knowledge of SWPPP requirements, erosion and sediment control, and environmental compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, permits, and contract documents.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30, NICET, CESSWI, or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings, document field observations, prepare daily reports, meeting minutes, and monthly progress updates.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, agencies, and stakeholders to resolve field issues and maintain project progress.

About the Role
