Cumming Group is seeking a Construction Inspector to support LAWA’s civil construction inspection in the Capital Improvement Program. You will inspect major structures, sewer and storm drain installations, and street lighting while adhering to City/County/Cal-Trans standards.

Required licenses include LADBS Grading or Deputy Post-Tensioning and Cal-OSHA 30-hour training within 4 years. Strong team collaboration and independent work capability are essential.

• Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting Cal-Trans bridge/roadway/structures or 10 years as Superintendent on Cal-Trans projects.
• Minimum 10 years in public works field inspection for heavy civil/roadway projects or as Superintendent on Cal-Trans projects.
• Proven expertise in installing and inspecting sewer/storm drain systems and traffic control measures.
• Strong knowledge of City of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles and Cal-Trans standards.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect major reinforced concrete structures including piles, roadways, and bridges across multiple jurisdictions.
• Inspect sanitary sewer and storm drain installations per LA standards.
• Conduct building inspections for exterior walls, roofing, framing, drywall, ceilings and interior finishing.
• Inspect street lighting and traffic signals per LA Bureau of Street Lighting and LADOT specs.
• Prepare daily inspection reports detailing observations, deficiencies and safety concerns.

Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Pro, PM Web, Bluebeam, ProCore, etc.Education/TrainingCurrent City of Los Angeles Deputy Inspector Licenses; Grading, or Post Tensioning (Pre-Stressed) / Preferred.30-hour Cal-OSHA training prior to assignment.
