Job summary

TGG Accounting is seeking a Construction Inspector to join our field team in the Greater Chicago Area, based in Lisle, IL. You will inspect roadway, bridge, drainage, and utility construction projects, ensuring work complies with plans, specifications, and IDOT standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction inspection experience (DOT, transportation, or heavy civil preferred).
• Experience on IDOT, Illinois Tollway, CDOT, or municipal roadway projects.
• Strong understanding of roadway, bridge, drainage, or utility construction.
• Comfortable communicating with contractors and project stakeholders.
• Strong documentation and computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to make sound decisions in the field.

Responsibilities

• Spend the majority of your time in the field with limited office documentation.
